Bacon Finnegan 

Tuesday morning I had the great opportunity to talk to 110 third grade kids at Zach Elementary in Fort Collins, Colorado. I talked about writing, the process, and read a sample chapter from my forthcoming novel Bacon Finnegan: The Sword of Fire. They were awesome to present to.

How does a book get to the shelf, or online, and into your hands? It starts with an idea, and then becomes a manuscript.

The kiddos were very attentive and asked some wonderful questions. I cannot explain the feeling of excitement that I had inside while reading my project with these amazing group of kids.

I would like to thank the 3rd grade teachers at Zach Elementary for letting me come to their school, take 45 minutes out of their busy day, and letting me present to their students. It is my goal to inspire kids to read, write, and follow their dreams. Thank you for letting me share my dream!
